What topics will be covered?

Publishing the results of one’s research is a substantial and often compulsory part of every researcher's career. The very first article might present a great challenge. In this webinar, we would like to share our experience with the academic writing and publication process both as researchers and editors. Topics to be discussed:

  • Key aspects of the academic publication process
  • How to choose a suitable academic journal
  • Tips for writing and submitting a research article for publication

Who should participate?

This webinar is designed for graduate students and early career researchers who are beginning to write for publication and are new to the process. It is, however, open to everyone interested in academic writing and publication.

Technical and software requirements:

  • You will need your laptop, desktop computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Make sure you have access to a high-speed internet connection.

  • The webinar will be conducted using NTK BigBlueButton video conferencing software.

Materials:

Slides and other presented materials will be available in NTK Moodle for Early Career Researchers .
